French Licence to UK Licence ? gyrocopters
Reply Quote

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a French Gyrocopter licence  into a UK PPL(g) without going through the whole training process again or where information can be found.

May sound odd, but I fly a Magni M16 in France currently.

Grateful for comments

Mike

If you take a look at LASORS (the CAA's licencing guide) there's all the info you need.  Basically you will need to send the CAA details of your licence and experience and they will take a view and advise requirements.  A more proactive approach would be to speak to and fly with a UK examiner and get him to support your case.

There's a link to LASORS on my website www.gyrotraining.co.uk
